Interesting article in the Atlantic about "It's a Small World" and other "annoying" ear worms.

I asked my husband about IASW at the World's Fair, and he said he went on it about 40 times. He still likes it, 50 years later.

I asked my husband about IASW at the World's Fair, and he said he went on it about 40 times. He still likes it, 50 years later.

I've been riding it nearly as long and I still love it, too! We grew up overseas and would always look for the countries we'd lived in as we went through. When we were kids, we didn't know if we'd ever get back. I've now ridden it's a small world in every Disney Park and will be adding Shanghai to the list as soon as possible! I always wonder why people get annoyed by the song. It's charming and lovely and sweet! I just wish I still had the Small World album!

This is so cool! I like the attraction and the song, too.

It was very cool! In 2010, I had a goal of running every Disney race. I was also booked to visit Disneyland Paris with a friend who lives in England (which meant that I visited Disneyland Paris, Walt Disney World and Disneyland in the month of May). I started plotting and planning and did a three-leg trip to Tokyo and Hong Kong over Thanksgiving week. I am always in favor of stretch goals!

IASW is adorable and I love the ride.

I like the song, too. I wouldn't play it over and over in the car or anything, but for the duration of the ride, I enjoy it very much.
