Iam new to ebay...What to do?

Like I posted in another thread I finally decided to start ebaying to start saving money for my trips. I was not familiar with the "feedback" and how important it is . My first 6 items all sold with no problems so I got greedy and listed more items : among them was my universal studio tickets that I do not longer need.Here is the problem : I listed my tickets and I got several email of ebayer that want the tickets but have a problem with me not having any feedback.He wants to know if there is any way to back my auctions, what is the meaning? I do know that my tickets are good what kind of guarantee can i give the buyers because of my lack of feedback I am also concern : I do not want to be "taken" because of my ignorance I am getting lots of emails asking me for the tickets on the"side"!!!!I need help!!!!!!!!

Are you accepting credit card payments through paypal? If so, the buyer is protected by both Paypal and hic cc company if he uses the service. He would have to file a complaint within 30 days for Paypal, and that might not fit into his window. I don't know what the limit is on complaints with cc companies.

You could always offer a money back guarantee, but that would mean you'd have to trust the buyer not to pull a fast one on you. In your situation, if you do a money back guarantee, then I'd require something from Universal stating that the ticket didn't have any days left just to deter the buyer from scamming you.

I think the general feeling around these parts is don't sell on the side. For one reason, ebay doesn't get their cut of the money that way. For a second reason you have absolutely no protection for either party. And for a third reason, items typically will be bid higher than what someone is offering you on the side. That's one of the reasons for a buyer to persue an on the side purchase.
