WAAYYY back in 2000 I got a great fare round trip (one stopover) tixs for our family of four from Houston (IAH) to MCO ($600 total). We got bumped to a Continental nonstop on the way there and loved it, especiailly compared to the trip home when we all got sick from a very bumpy ride on NW.
In 2002 I got greedy and waited and waited and waited for a cheap fare and ended up having to fork over $1300 for a one stopover flight. (This was American -- great service, liked the leg room)
So, having ONLY bought airfare in the past four years for the two above flights, should I buy the nonstop Continental flight at the right times for the four of us now for December, or should I still give it a little longer? The four roundtrip nonstop tix will be a total of $1008.80.
I just don't buy airfare enough to know.
I know there is no crystal ball, but what would you do?
