I am taking someone on their first ever Disney trip in May. HUGE star wars fan, so obviously Ogas is an item we want to do.
I have been checking for Ogas reservations just to see how popular they are, and I haven't seen a single reservation for any available day so far in the calendar.
I was even on an hour after reservations opnend this morning and nothing. I know I still have a couple weeks before mine, but it's a little disheartening to see none available.
Are they really going that fast?
Any tips on how to get one on our day?

On-site guests are able to book for their entire trip 60 days from check-in, so unless you're staying on-site and have a Hollywood Studios day several days into your trip, it's really difficult to score an Oga's reservation

We have been trying for our April trip and nothing has come up (we are on-site and there was NOTHING available for our day (a Wednesday) when our travel agent booked our other stuff 60 days out. I assume she booked CRT and BoG first since we expected those to be harder finds). We have notifications turned on and I haven't even gotten the usual 2 AM notification that something has opened up.

On our last trip in September, we found that a lot opened up at Oga's in the 2 weeks before our trip and had no trouble booking, so I'm hoping that's how it ends up being this time (and I hope that's the case for you as well!)

We will be on site. Is the booking process still the same as if I was off site, just the calendar just opens up more days than just the normal one on the 60 day mark?

If you’re staying on-site you will be able to book dining reservations for your entire trip (up to 10 days) at 60 days from your check in date.

I finally got one for March 1st this past weekend - be sure and do the "Breakfast" "Lunch" "Dinner" option. I wasn't looking for it, but it popped up when I was trying for a breakfast reservation

Exactly, and it's 60 days from your room check-in.

If you happen to have a split stay, you can only book reservations for the first part of your stay, then at 60 days from your second check-in, you'll be able to do the rest.

I've been checking everyday, multiple times per day. I was lucky enough to just score a mid afternoon on our first day at DHS. ( 2 weeks from today) Both my boys are going to be pumped up!!! Keep checking and good luck!

Keep trying. I have seen it come up three times now for our trip in a week and a half as I've been stalking for other things.

Keep checking! I’ve been checking non stop since our 60 day mark last week(6/5-12 split stay) and didn’t find anything. I also had 3 different reservation checkers(2 free, 1 paid): zero alerts. This morning at 4:30am central, I was able to grab 6/7 and 6/9 dinner reservations! Good luck

Yep, they just dropped new reservations for all the hours that were extended this past week. Congrats on getting what you were seeking!

I planned last minute trip, literally booked everything last week for mid-May, and couldn't get any reservations I really wanted and have been stalking the site. This morning, everything opened up including Oga's and I was able to grab a couple of them. I think Disney just released more reservations according to extended park hours. Good luck everyone!

Yep, that’s exactly what happened. Probably won’t see another major adr release like this again, especially if they’re going to start releasing long hours up front.

I decided to add Oga's to the sixth day of my trip. I was able to easily book this late in the day, 66 days out. So, if it is later in your trip, you may not have an issue.

With a bit of determination checking regularly can help. Another thing we noticed while in HS (5 days over 2 trips) is sometimes early and late in the day there are CMs walking that area asking around if anyone is interested. One rainy Sat the CMs were practically begging people to come in late in the evening.

I think there’s a walk up list too, scan the QR code outside the location. Best to do this early in the day. (Edit- Might be able to join thru MDE also? Nope, sorry)

Anyway I just wanted to add it’s possible to get in without the advanced ADR. No guarantee but worth a shot.

Mde does not have the walk up list option for Ogas, so that’s good to know it can be done in person.
