I4 traffic Update

I4 has been a mess the last few times we’ve been to Disney. The last time we went we bypassed it by going further south On I95 and taking some toll roads to Disney. It was worth a few bucks and a few extra minutes (maybe) to not be in that mess.

Can anyone give me an update on construction and traffic. We are going the end of February an arriving on a Saturday. We would be gettin on 4 from 95 between 10 & 11 (hopefully) on a Saturday. Should I take the toll roads or is I4 in a better situation.

On a Saturday at that approximate time I'd stick with I-4. I do understand the hatred for I-4. As a local, we avoid it whenever we can. But in this case I'd grin and bear it.

There's been major construction happening overnight this past week near downtown Orlando. Daytime has been fine except at rush hour on weekdays. (I am used to New York traffic, so I've seen MUCH worse.)

You could always take I-4 and if it starts to get bad, take toll road 417 near Sanford allll the way down to Osceola Parkway.

Just take the 417 if you don't like I-4.
