We came back from a trip to WDW about a week ago. On the last park day there, y 4 year old daughter lost her lanyard. A little back story here is that my family has never been into pin trading until this trip. My DH,who is not a BIG disney fan, thought it looked neat so we started on that Wednesday of the week. On Friday, I went to Epcot with my parents and my kids. My DH was playing golf. Anyway, my daugher was in her stroller and we were waiting for my parents to come through the turnstiles. (lots of people that day) Anyway, once they got in we needed to run to the restroom. The kids and I walked into the bathroom next to SE. I noticed as we finished that my youngest was missing her lanyard. I couldn't believe it. So I quickly went back the way we came. No lanyard. So we went to guest relations. They had nothing turned in. We checked a couple more times through out the day. Nothing ever turned up. Now I will explain it was pink with primarily kid type pins,(woody and jessie, tink, crush and some princess) and it was tied so it would be short enough to put on her neck. Anyway, I would not have thought that anyone who saw it would not have turned it in, it was SO obviously a kid's lanyard. Oh well, the night ended fairly well though. The final time into Guest relations and they gave us a voucher for a princess starter kit with lanyard and 4 princess pins. I couldn't believe they would cover something like that.
All is well that ends well but I still can't believe someone didn't turn it in.
Rant over.
