No, I don't think it's "kind of a stretch". If those people had 5 kids in a room, it's a pretty safe bet that at least a couple of them were old enough to know that they weren't supposed to have that many peolple in a room. Just a really poor example to be setting for those children. I would bet also that if they are willing to try to "cheat" on the room occupancy thing, then they are willing to try to "cheat" on a whole lot of other things too.

It just really irks me that it's always about "let's see how much we can get away with..."

Just a what if.. what if you had triplets who are 2, a 4 year old and a 5 year old and parents? Everyone outright says you can request connecting rooms but aren't guarenteed. 2 different rooms with 5 under 6 and spliting between parents isn't very logical. Or when they see your ressie and see the ages of the kids, they automatically give you connecting rooms? Just wondering.

The most I have "broken" these rules is when my sister and I took our kids before my youngest was born. We stayed at All Star... 2 adults and 4 kids but the kids were 6 months, 2 1/2, 3 and 4. So technically 2 of them didn't count or was I bad bad bad? We would have never been able to afford 2 rooms.

According to many on these boards, if you couldn't afford it, you shouldn't have gone. That's that. I disagree, but I am obviously in the minority on this subject - always am, always will be.

Then again, I am also of low moral character and value because I think this way, so I'm not sure you should be listening to me.

Did they stay in a Junior Suite or perhaps have 2 children under the age of 3? Just wondering where the heck they all slept?
