What the odds are of getting 1 night on a weekday in three weeks will be.

My boss just told me he wants me to head down to Orlando for 2 days to visit a client. I mentioned it to DW and she's like "Call DVC and I'm coming with!"

Going to call Member Services in a few.....gotta run to a meeting first.

Could be tough - I was lucky to get 11/28 and 12/1 with waitlists after about a month. If your week is the week before Thanksgiving week you will probably stand a better chance and since it is one night and if you don't care where you stay ----------------good luck. I am waitlisted for Dec 5 for SSR and OKW and am hoping that only needing the one night will help. I tried every resort for that night and the only studio I could get was at AKV Jambo standard view. I was hoping for a 1 BR.

As a MS CM said to me 2 weeks ago when I was going for Nov 11-14, if you are flexible, you have a chance. If you want a particular resort, then your chances decrease dramatically. I think you have a good chance.

Unfortunately my meeting ran long so I didn't get a chance to call today. I'll be calling first thing in the morning.

I'll just be using the points so I have a "free" hotel. I really don't care what DVC resort it is, and I'm kind of flexible on the night (Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday).

Do you really want to give your employer the "Free night hotel"? It might be free to them (the employer) ... but it isn't free to you (loss of use on your points)?
