Just got an email, I had entered a contost on J103 (our local Christian radio station) where you had to write in 200 words or less about your Lifesong (Lifesong is a new release by Casting Crowns) it could be by any artist but about a song that was special to you, had ministered to you etc. I didn't win the Grand Prize but got one of the first prize packages which includes a Casting Crowns t-shirt, 4 of their CD's and some of those are autographed and some other things.

My husband sang that song in church last year. It's awesome and so true. My personal favorite by them (ooooh, I think it is by them, I am really bad at remembering this stuff) is The Voice of Truth. Talk about a Lifesong--that is it for me.

Finally, after all the events of last week and on, got a chance to go pick up my Casting Crowns prize pack at lunch today. I got a t-shirt that says Casting Crowns, The new Lifesong CD autographed by all the group, 2 disc Live from Atlanta CD set, and the first album simply titled Casting Crowns.

Popped in the Lifesong CD when I got back here to work and the 2nd track is entitled "Praise You In This Storm" - this song ministered to me so. Seems like we have been going through so much, our stove has got to be replaced and our water heater had started leaking, before our wreck last Wednesday we had just saved up enough money to purchase those two items. Paid the wrecker company $305 of that yesterday and I don't have anything to drive. DH has a Ford Ranger so all four of us don't exactly fit in there. Anyways, have been feeling down - this song lifted my spirits.
