I was reading my current online newsletter from Passporter.com, and they used a tip I submitted months ago! They emailed me and are sending me a FREE passporter, and if I understand the wording correctly, I may be published in the next edition of Passporter! How stinkin exciting! If you get the newsletter, I am Robin B., & I talked about writing down souvenirs you see and like, so you can remember what you saw & where....

Write a “Souvenir Reminder”
“Keep a small notepad in your purse/fannypack, etc. When you or your kids see a souvenir you've "got to have," write down the price, the store, and the park/hotel where you saw it. Then at the end of the day, or towards the end of your trip, you can go over your list and decide what you really want. Then have a shopping day ? this helps kids (and adults like me) with budgeting and not blowing all our spending money the first day or two.” -- contributed by Robin B.

That's great. I'm also a Passporter-Celebrity of sorts. After the first Passporter came out, I went to their website to register and made a few comments about the book. A few months later, I received a letter from Jennifer and Dave, asking my permission to publish one of my quotes in the book. My quote was put on the first page of the 2000 guide in the Praise for Passporter section. They even sent me a free, signed copy of the book. It was totally unexpected and a really nice thing.

Congratulations, I've also started making a note so that I don't forget about something I see but not ready to purchase. I use my phone voice notes since I have it with me, I'm not organized enough to keep a list and find it everytime I want it.
