I entered a Pepsi/Mt. Dew sweepstakes to win an XBOX 360 on Monday and just got a confirmation today that I won! It is a prize valued at over $580 and it will be over nighted 1 week before they are released in stores! It comes with the game Need for Speed and some Mt. Dew promo stuff (shirts, etc.) I am so excited! November can't come soon enough.

Try EB Games or Game Stop. I know they are both taking pre orders in my area. The bad thing about Game Stop is that if you put down the $50 to reserve and then decide to cancel, you only get store credit back. If you are a big gamer, that may not be too much of a problem

This is why we hardly ever buy new games when they first come out. Since we don't currently have an XBOX now (we have all Nintendo systems and PS2), we will be buying used games and playing them on the 360 until the 360 games go down in price or we can find them used. All the games will be new to us since we haven't played them yet. It's awesome that I won, because I was going to buy it for DH as a college graduation gift in Dec anyway.

We go thru about 4 cases of Pepsi per week and while I don't know if Pepsi is included in this sweepstakes or not (I'll check now that I know someone won. LOL), the numbers are usually on the inside cardboard of the case.

Me too. And you won more than I did. I only won the XBOX as far as I know. We'll see if anything else come with it.

Believe it or not, I also won a regular XBOX last year. It was at my wife's Christmas party. I wasn't supposed to win but you had to be present to win and the guy who should have won had already gone home. I've used it maybe 3x in the whole year.

PS2 is really starting to grow on me though. I am loving Katamari Damacy and the sequel, We Love Katamari, will be out this month. That one will be hard to find used, so we will be getting it one new. It will be released at $30 which is far less than other PS2 games.

Me either, but it had to happen sooner or later. "A" games have been $50 for like 10 years now. And games really are more expensive to make now. I'll buy 90% of mine used. Or wait til they become the $19.99 classics.

Give it a try. You might like it. It is a bit frustrating at times, but you only use the 2 joysticks. No button mashing or crazy combos to learn. It is so random. Good for lots of laughs. You can roll up food, animals, people, trees, buildings, islands, ships, etc. The music is amazing as well.
