I won a trip to punta cana!!!

WOO HOO I won a trip yesterday to Punta Cana I got excited last year because I won a free coffee at Tim Horton's...so this is huge for me. Have you been there? Any advice? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for any input.

Awesome. I went to Dreams Punta Cana. it was a little dated, but great food and even better service. Friends of mine have been two other Dreams resorts and they had the same thing to say.

Been several times... I assume you are staying at an All inclusive... there are MANY there... and at every end of the spectrum. Some resorts are great while others are not. There are also a lot of timeshares popping up there, so with the beaches being public, you will likely get approached by locals trying to sell you the time share. Just be polite, say no thank you and go back to relaxing in the sun.

I won the trip through the radio station. It is for Gran Bahia Principe Golden Section, Punta Cana. I am just waiting for the final info from the travel agaent. I still don't know when I can exactly go. From what the rules say no travel between xmas and new years, no february, no March break and has to be used by April 14th. Well what sucks is I am already off for christmas and march break that would have been perfect. But I will of course make it work!!! Thanks for the info

I won one too, but since it is an adults only resort in Mexico , I'm not sure what to do. DH says he won't leave the kids with grandma but I have a year to think about it, so we'll see what happens by then.

In 2007 I won a trip to Vegas for 2, flight and hotel (Treasure Island) only for 4 nights.
When we got there, they gave each of us CAN 1.000 which was nice.
that was with the Fan 590 radio station.

The Gran Bahia Principe in Punta Cana is excellent and you will have a wonderful time. The complex is huge though but enjoy it all! Don't forget lots of sunblock!
