I wish Disney would do a promotion (at the same time, and combinable with their free dinning promotion) for AT PAR prices for us.

I'd love to do a WDW/Cruise trip in Sept, and am still planning for it, as long as everything from now until then is positive, lol.
But it would sure make it a heck of a lot easier to book now if we could get it at par!

I'm with you there. Any discounts that do give us seem to take forever to be released. And wouldn't at par be wonderful just once.

Oh, at par pricing would be wonderful, wouldn't it?! :cloud9: I just paid off our trip this morning because the CDN$ was at 84 cents and considered myself lucky

were lookign at possibly going this october to celebrate our tenth wedding anny. free dining ends before were going tho so im hoping they extend it! they just did for americans, so im crossing my fingies!

Exclusive Canadian week at WDW. Tim Hortons and Canadian foods at our pavilion.
Beaver tails, poutine, steamies, submarine sandwiches from Quebec, perogies from out west, Veal sandwiches from, Toronto, Alberta beef, seafood and seafood from all of our coasts, the greates pizza from across the country.
If I left something out please add it to your post.

Dollar at par and free dining.

Special airfare from the closest US airport of $100 return per person.

And for those driving down a US gallon of gas to cost what we pay for a litre.

Ensure the time we are down at WDW it snows back home.

Lol, that all sounds great!

Oh and I want 1/2 off pricing for any disney cruise for us canadians too, lol

When we went in February of 08, we booked and paid for our trip when the dollar was above par (for those couple of weeks). It was wonderful, we go every year and as soon as it is booked we watch the dollar and when it's up we pay what we can. Sometimes it can make a difference.

When are you going?

As long as you book on the last day of the promo, you can have it the whole time you stay up to two weeks past.

Have you booked already?
Did you book through WDW.com?

Nope haven't booked yet, will probable book through a TA though
Well, You probably won't save a whole lot through an agent.... but if you book online through Disney, you can call up and add any promo if they come up.... AND if you put $250.00 down, you can pay off the trip 30 days prior to leaving.
That means when the dollar goes up you can make an online payment anytime and save money on the exchange.
We did this twice and saved lots
just fyi.

Not to change topic totally but.....

I wish Disney would release the hours for August already.:sad2:

And of course put a Timmy's at Epcot. (my newbie friend is NOT gonna like missing her Tim's:rotfl:)

If we go for free dining though, I thought you can't use any other promotions with the dining one?

really? cus we were told by our sears travel agent you coudl use two at once- for four of us to go for seven days- as its go for five get two free, plus our airfare and park admission and free dinign jsut under 4000. 2 adults- 1 4 yr old and 1 two yr old.

If you book through a TA the rules are the exact same. :confused3 Well except with a TA, the deposit is only $200, not $250.

Sorry, but you were misinformed. You can not get 'Buy 4/Get 3 Free' plus 'Free Dining' at the same time. Proof of that is that the Buy 4 ends on August 15, Free Dining begins the very next day (August 16th). Therefore, it's physically impossible to get both.

Let's do the math. If you were to get 'Free Dining', plus 'Buy 4/Get 3 Free' for 2 adults and 2 children (age 3-9) with a 7 day base ticket at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa (which is the most expensive resort on property) the total would be only $2,658.52. Disney's Port Orleans Riverside would be only $1,533.56 and Disney's Pop Century Resort would be $1,233.64.

Disney has to make money, as they aren't going to give things away. ;)

Ah but to dream...

hmmm well thats annoying now isnt it???? perhaps i misunderstood, i knwo she todl me of these deals but didnt write them out for me- oh wait yes she did! hmm ill be making a call tomorrow!!!
