LOL, my chihuahua is making this weird Brrr noise while staring up at me on the couch and I told her to get her butt under the covers with me! Since it is just me home (well the dogs are here) then I just can't make myself use the heater..too expensive lol.
I would be getting the landlords butt there right now! Why do you have to wait till next week or are they going to pay your heat bill until they can fix their mistake? Aren't you pregnant too? No excuse...either they should fix it immediately or pay your bill for having to use it the way it is! Sorry, I have been preggers 5 times, so I feel for preggiesStay warm

We have tile floors too and leather furniture. I never feel like it gets warm in the winter, whether we run heat or not. Since we have hairless dogs who have a high internal body temperature, I'm always snuggled under a blanket with my own personal heater.
The thermostat (livingroom) said 70 when I got up, but it was 66 in my bedroom. I can't stand being cold so I put the heat on just to take the chill off. I couldn't survive with it being 53 inside. I know it's at least 71 in the house right now, but I'm still freezing. My hands are so cold they hurt. I guess I'm just not normal.![]()
The strange thing is I used to live in Buffalo, NY so you'd think I'd be used to the cold. People down here say your blood thins when you've lived here for a few years and you can't take the cold anymore. LOLYou live in southern FL- I'm sure to you, anything less than 80 is chilly!"Normal" is all relative. I have relatives who live pretty far north, and they think anything over 40 is shorts weather.
