So, today at school we needed to get our hepititis B shots. Well, they poked me in the arm I don't write with (my left) and guess what? They hit a blood vessel or something, so they didn't inject anything and I has left with pain for ten minutes until the nurse filled out a paper and I'm sitting there in the foyer, with everyone else who already got their shot waiting for me, squeezing the heart stress ball the nurse had. I finally get my shot in my right arm this time, and head up backstairs. My friend Nicole, was looking pale and she said she didn't feel well so the teacher told her to put her head down.
One minute later, she faints. The teacher caught her off her chair just before she hit the floor. She'd been thinking about the shot and how her brother fainted when he got the shot. We called the nurses upstairs and gave her some water to drink before it happened.
Tough day..
I will never trust anyone with a needle again. Never.
Until the stupid spring meningitis shots anyways.
