I was wondering if Donald's boat is still dry, or if the kiddie spray areas are dry?

Does anyone know if they have them turned back on usually for the hot summer months? We will be there in mid Aug. and our niece would love to do these things.

If my feeble memory serves me correctly, the last two or three years we have been (In July) Donald's boat area was dry. I just assumed it wasn't working and was a low priority on the fix list. Too bad since it was a nice break for little ones.

I don't think I have seen water in the boat since 2000. But they do have sprinklers at Epcot and DTD so bring the suits and towels for the little ones.

Does anyone know why the Boat has been dry. It seems like it would be such a fun attraction in Toontown if it was wet

Many of the non-recirculating fountains were turned off in late 2001 as a result of water restrictions imposed after years of severe drought in Central FL. We are on our way out of the drought, but not quite out yet. Earlier in the week I was quite surprised to see the granite sphere back on. I have not seen the drought signage lately. Rest assured, Donald's boat is not "broken" it has just been conserving for a while.

We've been having lots of rain, but drought has more to do with the groundwater levels and the water table, both of which have been in severe range for quite some time. Looks like another wet summer coming up, so I'm hopeful.
