I'm sitting here in cold Maine dreaming of warm Florida sunshine while the Dh is making adrs for our April trip and the DD's are watching Beauty and the Beast I got a hankering for pretzel bread. I searched for a recipe and found one to try. I have to say it was pretty good! So I thought if anyone else wanted to try and satisfy a craving I'd make it a little easier so I'm posting the link on here. I'll try to upload a photo I took later too. Have a great day dis friends! :thumbsup2

Have you tried Sister Schubert's pretzel rolls? They sell them in the freezer section at our supermarket. I've heard they're actually very good. I was meaning to try them this week, but got side tracked. If not, you might see if you can order them online.

Because I'm lazy, I go to Whole Foods or Trader Joe's and buy them already baked! It holds me until I can visit Le Cellier!

I wish I had a whole foods or any store for that matter that had any thing even close to this. I live in the middle of nowhere with only 700 people in my town with the nearest "city" being a 100 miles one way, so I do what I can with what I have. It was a very easy and inexpensive recipe actually. The most time was just waiting for it to rise.

I'll be at Disney in April too! I only have one ADR so far... but want Le Cellier. Their pretzel bread is the best! Your rolls turned out great! Nice pic!

Those look great! We have the Sister Shubert pretzel rolls here in Alabama, they are really good. We will be trying Le Cellier for the first time in March. So excited we finally got a ressie there!!

Do you guys dip them in anything or just eat plain?

I LOVE anything sister shuberts!!!!!:thumbsup2

Thanks guys for all the nice comments. I tried once to make the beer and cheese soup but the first try wasn't successful so that I need to work on. Since I didn't have any beer and cheese soup I improvised and got a mild cheddar cheese dip to dip them in. That was good enough for me for now.

What week are you going in April? We will be there April 16-25th. So far we have ressies at Le Cellier's, Ohana, Mama Melroses and Maya Grill. I think some might be wondering why Maya Grill but we tried it last September and had probably the best meal we have had on property. We even had dinner at the Yatchsmas that trip but were rather disappointed in it. Thanks again! :thumbsup2
