It's so strange. I was able to make an ADR for dinner at LeCellier for our upcoming trip in September (during free dining) but the only ADRs I can get for Wispering Canyon is at 8pm or 8:30pm (and I tried for several different dates). I find this strange. I will keep trying. I'm hoping that they just haven't opened up those "prime time" reservations yet (i.e. 5:30, 6:00).

What do you think? Is it possible that WCC is actually getting that popular?

I've tried calling serveral times for an ADR at WCC for our Sept trip and get the same available times!!!!

I'll keep trying! ;)

isn't WCC always popular? free dining aside, isn't the point of WCC that you WANT it to be filled? it'd be no fun if it wasn't.

They may have some Grand Gatherings or large groups booked there during your stay. :confused3

A little aside: Did you call for Le Cellier on your 180 day mark? You are very fortunate to have a dinner for Sept., it's been booked solid for weeks already! Good for You!!

I was trying to get WCC for our family of 5 a couple weeks ago, for my son's birthday during our September trip, and 8:40 was the only time available each time I called. After the last time I called, I called back a few minutes later and requested a table for 6 instead, and got it for 5:30. So that might be a solution for you.

If WCC is really that full, you could try for a late lunch. We've got a 2:40pm ADR for our June trip. We're doing MK, then to WCC, back to SSR to rest for a few hours, then back to MK for the evening.

If you get the skillet, and you do it right, you won't WANT any dinner!:rotfl2: Well, maybe a Mickey Bar or two.;)

I take "all u can eat" offers very seriously, especially BBQ-related food!

Thanks for the advice. But there are only 4 in our group.

Last week I was able to secure a lunch reservation. I really wanted dinner, so I literally called every day...and finally one opened up for 4:30 on 9/27 so I grabbed it.

I'm hoping the same will happen with WCC.
