The real question is, though, does your wedding party agree that you weren't a bridezilla?

I'm sure many bridezillas don't think they were, but their friends/family might disagree.
As for me, I had a great time planning and attending my wedding and reception. I was calm and relaxed. I can remember only a couple of things that I had to be assertive about:
1. The florist kept trying to get me to carry mostly white flowers in my bouquet and I wanted deep, rich colors that matched the wedding colors, because I like the contrast against the white dress. I had to tell her several times, "no, no white flowers", and she seemed very put off by it, but when the bouquets were done, they were gorgeous and even she admitted they turned out much nicer than she'd thought they would.
2. The DJ kept playing country line-dancing music at the reception, after dh and I had told him beforehand we wanted no country music (we hate it!). I don't know why he kept playing it, no one was dancing to it. Several people complained. (Yes, dh and I know our friends and family better than the DJ did!) I finally went over and told him to play the kind of music he'd previously agreed to play or I'd be stopping payment on the check. That DJ might call me a bridezilla for that, but I have a few not-so-flattering words I could use to describe him, too, so I guess we're even!
