i want to swap!!!! please?

hi i am completly new to swapping but i do do scrapbooking.
i am going to wdw in 20 days.for this trip i have made some autograph albums for my children,which i am really proud of!!!
i have been looking at some of your previous swaps and really really want to be a part of one (or more) as i know i am gonna want to scrap every photo!!!
can some one please advise me and talk me through how i do it please?

As far as i know, there is nothing open now..i could be wrong. However, just keep checking the boards in the future. I am sure more will open after the holidays.
Meanwhile, welcome, and just start posting and getting to know us... There is also a scrapbook board, if you haven't found that yet!lol

Nope no new swaps yet. Keep an eye out on the 2007 swap calendar thread stuck to the top of the swap forum. We will be posting there next year. We will have some newbie swaps for those who have never swapped before as well as regular swaps that anyone can join. In the mean time read through the old swaps to get an idea of the rules and the elements we do.

I'm not as good as some of the other people on here but if I get into a swap I'll read like crazy and try my hardest! Definitely after the first of year.. holidays make things crazy and I'd hate to make a promise I couldn't keep!

What is the difference between a Newbie swap and a General swap? Can a non-newbie join a newbie swap?

I know there was a thread of swap ideas, wonder if we had any great ideas a few months ago? I was interested in a pet swap (not the actual pets ). I would love to have some doggie elements. I want to do a book for my sweet fur baby that passed away a few years ago , and would love some cute puppy stuff. Probably should be water proof as I still get all teared up when I look at his pics, but I digress...

Anyway, we have 2 labs now, and I think I have more pics of them than of my kids...between the boys taking their pics, and me having them pose to finish a roll, we have WAY to many doggie pics

I was thinking of starting a thread for ideas and if you post your idea add host/hostess after it if you would like to host it, that way no one steps on each others toes.

ddavis - a newbie swap is for people new to swapping to get their feet wet without too much pressure for perfection. We try to keep them mostly for newbies but vets can join too. A general swap is for everyone to join newbies or vets.

I am pretty sure that there was some interest in an EPCOT (world showcase and future world) that was going to be due sometime in Feb. I don't know if that is still happening though.
