Since there is always inferno talk on this board I wanted to offer some advice.
You can trade for it with an honest person. Look for someone that has a lot of Dis posts, chances are if they have invested a lot of time on these boards they will not want to lose that. It does not mean that anyone with a few posts can't be honest but you need to take precautions.
Someone posted that it isn't safe to offer more than 15 items for inferno. Well I have traded for it several times and each time it took more than one window, so unless you have a super rare item you are going to probably get into the dangerous area of more than one window.
There are a few ways it can be done. Inferno can be traded on the first window but then that leaves the inferno person with taking the chance that they might not get anything after the first window.
Best way is to have a REPUTABLE person hold the inferno while the trade takes place. That isn't a friend of one of yours or a friend of the other person. If you both don't know the person and BOTH are not comfortable with it keep looking. It has to be someone that you both can trust. Don't just rely on any community leader because they are not all honest. The leaders on this board are on VMK all the time and I know they would happy to help.
So just be careful and if you get so anxious to trade that you decide not to have a third party hold the inferno, you are taking a big risk.
Also beware of anyone that "changes their mind" after you ask for the safety of a 3rd party. If some one won't agree to it, chances are they never intended to do a fair trade anyway.
Good luck and be careful it takes a long time to get over the sting of being cheated out of a lot of rare stuff.

thx for the info and the friend part is wrong well half leaders dont want to lose the place
I've been the middleman... I mean, middlewoman (lol) in several trades, and they've always gone very well for both parties.
