Williams-Sonoma always seems to have a lot of pricey (and generally impractical) items in their catalog/stores. Copper cookware also discolors from heat and would be a pain to clean after each use. I agree as others have mentioned, seems more of a novelty display item if you have those kitchen cupboards with glass doors.

These pots are more decorative than functional. First of all, how would you store the lids in a standard kitchen? You basically have to give each pot with lid its own space and not stack. Many people have kitchens that simply don’t have that space besides the practical thing of those things getting stained and dirty.

Yes, theOP mentioned I could see these pots being in some mega super rich kitchen and a Disney themed home like Golden Oaks, with lots of built-ins and display space, and these would make a very nice decorative theme. I could totally see these pots, looking awesome in a white cream kitchen with the chalk/ earth tones with a splash of pink pastels.

We just bought an induction cook top and DH has been squawking at me to buy new cookware. I should punk him and tell him I ordered these...$3,130.20 CAD not including duty and shipping. :rotfl2:
In case you're ordering them for real, please be aware that these won't work on an induction cooktop.

I did notice on the website that you can buy the pieces individually, so you don’t have to make the full investment.

I'd only buy these with staff to keep them clean for me.

Available at Williams Sonoma for only $2,299.95, which is $50.05 off the retail price
But look at the brand, they are made by Ruffoni who makes some of the finest copper cookware in the world. They are hammered by hand and their attention to quality and craftsmanship is second to none. I don't own any Ruffoni but my copper cookware is made by Mauviel which is made in France. Also expensive but not nearly as much as Ruffoni.

You must not cook that much. W-S has some really great items for people who are serious home chefs. True, it's not cheap, but all of our things from there have always been of exceptional quality and have been very useful. Copper cookware can be polished to keep its sheen and it is not at all a pain to clean.

That's okay. I'd just buy a second, backup stove to use this cookware on. ;)

Well, of course! That goes without saying. :teeth:

I'm philosophically opposed to buying anything that isn't dishwasher safe.

The staff would hand wash all of these. Or they had better know how to run the dishwasher. :snooty:
