Hadn't heard that but I was well out of High School by the time Stacy's Mom was a hit. Stacy's mom would NOT have looked like if she did in the video. She would likely be in her 40's. Based on the two songs being hits 22 years apart and Rick Springfield being 22 when it was a hit.

It’s a running joke from my generation (Y) that all relatable songs are connected to that Jessie’s girl. Other examples: Jenny’s number and 1985. And that other songs that have a different girl but similar themes must be a family member related to Jessie’s girl. I have no clue if Gen Z has continued the joke.
