will this affect my unemployment benefits?
I did a really stupid thing.I applied for and accepted a job without going to see where it was located first!
I'm suppose to start tommorrow but when I took a ride down there this past weekend I found it to be way out in the boonies...
Road upon road of hills, turns and no street lamps!! What a fool I am to accept a job and NOT take a ride down and see where it was located.
I got lost a few times and this was in the day time! I will never find those turns in the pitch black going down all those roads.
I am hoping this will not affect my getting unemployment.
Any comments or unemployment experts out there??
Thanks.
Dee

It shouldn't- I am a recruiter and deal with unemployment issues with our contracors once in a while. Usually you shouldn't be denied if the position offered is similar in scope to your previous position in regards to pay, commute and the duties itself. I would check with your state's Dept of Labor for clarification though. :sunny:

Tracey,Thank You.That's what I thought but I wasn't sure.
