I tried giving away a crown

Sigh... who would have thought it would be this difficult. I give something away evey day and I was looking at my stash and I have a lot of crowns so I figured that would be it today.

There was a trade room title Princess Dress trades. I figured cool that will work.

I have a few rules about who gets my stuff. I refuse to give to anyone that asks and I look for someone who is trying to trade and doesn't have good stuff or is kind of just watching. They have to be polite.

There were 3 girls in the room not wearing crowns.

So I found a girl, I put up the crown and said I am giving this to you. Then she said but I need a full dress. I closed the window. I went to another girl and said do you need this with the crown, she said I want a full dress. I went to a third girl and asked the same question and I got the same result.

Thess girls wanted a dress and couldn't see past that to see an offer of a free crown. Go figure.

So then I said to the room I was trying to give away a crown and the people I offered it to all just asked for a full dress. I told them to lighten up a little and then of course everyone in there INCLUDING the people that were wearing crowns said they needed a crown.

Sigh...who would have thought it was so dificult to give something away. I went to the Music Game and found someone there.

I have never had this happen before. I think I walked into the wrong room tonight. Hell hath no fury like a Princess without a gown!

Lol, I think it's because the room name was princess dress trades. Everyone in there was probably thinking, "I MUST GET A PRINCESS DRESS!?!!!111/!?! Gah! Must get one, or die!" Kind of mentality. (ok I overplayed it, a little) I know when I named my trade room bird hat trades (I had about four or five and figured I could trade them away faster that way) and sure enough all anyone wanted was a bird hat

I love to gift. It makes me feel so good. But, on the flip side when my friends try to gift to me I am reluctant,.. and I do not know why. Last night was the first time I tried to be graciuouis about recieving a gift and welcome it...it was nice. ty, your gift was great. Hard to accept but greAT...oKAY, SHOULD WE INVITE DR . PHIL To our group now? only kidding....but, really to get is diffucult for me...but, ty...

yea I gave away a crown, here is what happened, I was in the emporium and saw two girls standing next to each other I was guessing they were either afk or trading so all the sudden the first girl says "I'll get it" and the other girl says "hurry" so another few minutes of silence and finally the first girl said "im not giving it back" and the second girl says "give me the crown" and so I ask her what happened and she said the girl took all of her furniture and did not give her the crown she promised and so I asked her to trade and gave her one of my extra crowns and it did feel very good

See the best place to gift is in Town Square. I like to give a "Welcome to VMK Gift". Most of the people in that room are guests and asking alot of questions. Of course, you have to be careful, it could be a donkey - so you have to study to determine who to give to.

I usually enjoy gifting fireworks magic pins. I also look for someone who does not just come out and ask for something, but someone who is trying to trade and does not have much to trade with. I try to watch who I am playing with in a round of fireworks and see who cannot score very high.

I did this a few times last week, the only problem is that once this happens, others in the lobby start asking for a free firework magic and do not let up. So become down right rude about it. This happened yesterday when a gave a player a free firework pin. She was very polite and when I gave it to her as a gift, she was so very thankful and excited. She quickly put it on to try it and others asked her how she got it. I was then bombarded with people asking for a freebie too. In the future when I give away something, I will have to ask the person not to mention who they got it from. It is sad but it has to be done.

I just recently traded a crown and a pink princess top to a random girl, she traded me a gray crate and a lantern. She was so excited to wear her new crown and top that she invited me to her room and invited her "boi" so he could see her all dolled up.

He was just as excited as she was but when he found out what little she had traded for it, he immediately threw up a trade window asking me to trade my cowboy pants and hat. I told him that I was not trading that and he thanked me for trading with her because there was no way either of them had enough to trade for the the crown or the top.

It made my day to see them so happy.
