I took my life into my own hands!

I went shopping at the mall with two 13 year old girls!!!!! YIKES!!!!!!!!
I am a brave soul.. maybe that should be CRAZY WOMAN!!

Friday night at the Salinas mall with my dd and her best friend. Those girls were so funny.. they were checking out ALL of the high school boys.. giggling beyond control... but they were good.
I told them where and when to meet me.. and they showed up on time. I only let them go for about 45 minutes each time by themselves. They did the usual.. Claires', Pac Sun, The Gap, Old Navy... and of course THE FOOD COURT! LOL...

It was a fun "girls night out" for us. They are upstairs now modeling all of their purchases. and STILL giggling!

This was a good night for a mom with teens.. I shall prepare myself for tomorrow.. 'cause you know the "happy streak" does not last long with teens... LOL

I've done that many times with one of our DDs and lived to tell about it. She just had to know what her limits were and she was fine. It was a lot of fun.

You're a much braver soul than I! I took my 13 yr, old DD shopping for a graduation dress, and we ended up with nothing. Everything was plain black, or dark, dismal tan and black flowers. Where are all the pretty, APPROPRIATE dresses for girls this age???
