I threw away all my fat clothes

I threw away all my fat clothes! Sort of a scary propisition, because you have that nagging voice inside your head that says.......what if you gain it back. I am hoping that this will help keep the "LIFESTYLE" change in my head instead! I can, and I will keep this off forever now!

Now this is a good reason to go and buy new clothes!

It really felt good to clean my closets out! I bet it will be even more fun filling it with awesome clothes! A new me, and a new wardrobe!

Ive been slowly making a pile of clothes to donate to Goodwill.

I made the mistake tho of donating my smaller clothes when we did a major house clean-out last winter!

I have also been slowly buying smaller clothes to re-stock my closet. Awhile ago, I decided to give away most of my smaller clothes. I figured that if I ever lost the weight, I deserved new clothes!

Good for you Melanie! You did the right thing. I'm sure you'll keep motivated by thinking "I can't gain it back! I'll have nothing to wear!"

That's great! I did the same thing when I lost weight, but you know what else I did? I saved one pair of jeans, size 18. I'm now a 8 or a 10 depending on the brand, but boy do I love to try on those pants every few months and get a kick out of how huge they are!! They almost fall all the way off! So, maybe you can keep just one item, just to help remind you of what a great job you've done!!!

Thats a great idea. I wish I would have saved something. I tried on a pair of size 18 shorts that I had from 2 summers ago, they just slid right off me. They were so huge! That just feels so good!
