Maybe someone knows the answer?

What if you are having your event in the park and your guest is late or misses the bus? Are they just SOL or is there some way for them to catch up?

it probably depends on the location and your buses and time. For us we were at the WP - if someone missed the bus they needed to meet us there on their own. If they missed the bus to go to teh park they would probably also need to get to epcot on their own as well. Speak to your planner but ours told us MAKE SURE they are there on time.

We had both our ceremony and reception in Epcot. I was told by my WP that they would have to find their own way to the park. A taxi would be fastest but they could also just catch a regular bus. Once they got to the gate, they would need to talk to a security guard to explain the situation, that they were trying to get to a "private event." They would need to be escorted in. Our WP also said that they would almost definitely miss the ceremony (and so they should just go straight to the reception location.) Hope that helps!

In our case, we completely "terrorized" our guests about being on time and even gave them earlier times for the "departures" so that we could be sure they'd be early. Our bus driver commented that he'd never seen such an on-time, ready-to-go group. Unfortunately, our WP screwed up and sent the handicapped-equipped bus to the wrong hotel. So even though all our guests and the bridal party were early, we still started really late
