Hello... I am Kimberly, the single mother of three children from Connecticut. I have one dd who is 13 and twin ds who are 9. I've been going through an over three year divorce... It is quite the soap opera! lol Last year was the first year that I was able to take my children to Disney, as the ex never wanted to go. When I was a child my Grandmother and two of my Aunts lived in Jacksonville Florida. Every summer I would visit them for two weeks... and every summer we would drive down to Orlando and go to Disney. I'm tell you, I was so excited to finally have my own children experience the Magic Kingdom. Ever since we got back in March 07, my kiddos have been begging me to go again. So as not to disappoint we are going again this February. 2/13-2/19. This time we are going with my boyfriend and his two children, ds 14 and dd 12 who have never been. My boyfriend went only one time as a child. When he went he stayed at the Contemporary. We have been trying to get rooms there, but so far we have the Poly. At least we are on the monorail, which we think will be tons of fun for the older three. They can just hop on the monorail and head over to Magic Kingdom in a heart beat. Last year was the first year I have ever stayed on property... and having experienced the ease of not driving to and from the airport and to and from the hotel... and just enjoying every minute, I know that staying on property is now the only way I will see Disney. My kids and I stayed at the POP which we found to be perfect for us. We actually ended up staying an extra two days due to a huge blizzard in NY... so LaGuardia was shut down. The POP gave us our room for two more nights... we had two days of just lounging around the pool.
Anyway, I am psyched to have found this board. I have posted a bit on the Budget board! I love it! I never knew there were so many deals out there... especially the whole CVS thing. Very cool. I am looking forward to getting to know you all.

Planning a trip is so much fun and seeing the magic through your children's eyes is one of the best parts of the trip. I love the budget board too. Though instead of saving money, sometimes I end up spending more because of all the good deals everyone knows about. 
) and also take the boat over to MK!! Have a great trip, you must be so excited. Oh, by the way really hard getting stuck in Disney 2 extra days due to snow
