As a teenager I got sick "monthly" and we had REALLY steep stairs and I never made it past the bottom step. My dad would always wake up and take care of things.
When I got married I got really sick all of a sudden one night and didn't make it... DH was like WHAT THE HECK! when I just went back to bed
Now we have a bowl that lives under the bed in case of emergencys.
My problem is I don't get a whole lot of warning usually. When I get the super saliva mouth and stuff it usually just ends up with me wishing it would happen, but nothing actually coming of it.
OH... Most embarassing barf story ever.... We were at downtown disney last spring and my stomach hurt like I was hungry, which made sense since I had not eaten since breakfast and it was well past lunch time.
So DH bought me a popcorn, which I had been craving the whole trip...
All of a sudden... BAM. Good thing popcorn is absorbent... Cause I had only eaten a few pieces when it happened.
I went on to be very sick for the next 24 hours, but at least that was back at our timeshare behind closed doors. Not right outside the World of Disney Store!

I remember her jumping up and me running down the hallway to the bathroom crying...
At that point all heck broke loose - DS woke up screaming and I found him in a vomit filled crib. And then DD began screaming and vomiting again. And this cycle repeated itself all morning. I had an entire PILE of sheets and clothes next to the washing machine that was like something that I'd never had before or since and I literally could not keep up with it. I believe that it was the absolute most difficult day I ever had with my babies; something my nightmares were made of back then! (I tease them about it now!

So, I'm NOT the only kid in the world who threw up ON her teacher? We moved shortly after that actually. I have not heard of this happening to anyone else. Mine was Kindergarten, I had gone to the nurses office, felt better after laying down so went back to the classroom, the teacher asked if I was feeling better and the next thing I knew, the poor teacher ended up with me puking all over her. They then had another teacher/school person drive me home (I have no idea why but this was in the stone ages & no one thought twice about such things apparently) & I remember being told if I needed to throw up again, to make sure I did it in a bag vs. her car.
