Looking for some encouragement/discouragement for our choices in early December. Some of these places we've been to before (in '05) and some are new. We have 4 adults and 4 children ranging in age from 23 months to 8 years old and are on the DDP.

Mama Melrose (MGM) - ate there in '05

Wolfgang Puck Cafe (DTD) - 1st time

LeCellier (Epcot) - 1st time

Teppenyaki (Epcot) - 1st time

Cinderella's Royal Table - Dinner - ate there in '05 and a birthday dinner for 6 year old

Crystal Palace (MK) - ate there in '05

Any words on any of these places would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Mama Melrose (MGM) - DH and I ate here Dec 06 and were not impressed, the food was very bland and my dish, the eggplant Napoleon, came out cool and the bean ragu was not cooked...the beans were hard as a rock. The toasted bread salad had 2 small croutons on it

Wolfgang Puck Cafe (DTD) - I cannot wait to try this place, we are huge fans of the Express CS place so this TS should be just as good!

LeCellier (Epcot) - LOVE THIS PLACE! For lunch or dinner they are both out of this world.

Teppenyaki (Epcot) - We have been there a few times and do like it but we have many similar places where we live so we do not eat there anymore

Crystal Palace (MK) - This is a wonderful place for any meal, the characters are always fun and the food is awesome. The adobe pork and roasted chicken are two delicious items!

We just ate there. While good food, it was not great food. Maybe try something new. If you like MM then keep it. It just wasn't anything special in my eyes.

Mama Melrose (MGM) - never been but considering the Fantasmic Dining Package for late Dec.

Wolfgang Puck Cafe (DTD) - Have never tried, but always hear good things.

LeCellier (Epcot) - Planning on trying in December. I will call for ADR on the first available day.

Teppenyaki (Epcot) - Ate here in Sept. 06. My DD (then 6) and DS (then 3) loved it and have requested it above any of the other restaurants including character meals.

Cinderella's Royal Table - Dinner - Ate here June 06-Breakfast fare wasn't any thing special. Great atmosphere and characters, but my kids weren't "wowed" They don't even consider doing this again. Fine with me.

Crystal Palace (MK) - Have been several times for breakfast and dinner times. Always fun and has good food. Planning on returning in March 08.

Looks like you have made some good choice in my opinion. Have fun. We will be there in July and back again on Dec. 19th.

I agree except Teppanyaki we LOVE it - we don't have a restaurant like it within 90 miles.

I think you have done very well.. not a huge fan of MM, think it is generic Italian food, I prefer Spoodles and it is kid friendly too...I know others like MM so maybe you should try it and see what you think.

Thanks to all who have responded so far!

We like to eat in at least one TS per park. I have never been to Sci-Fi at MGM but the DMIL, DSIL, and DW have and don't want to go back there. They also did not like Prime Time Cafe (I did), so there aren't many places left for TS at MGM.

We actually love MM :cloud9: and try to plan an ADR there each trip.

Love the atmosphere and the food. DS normally gets the pizza which he raves about and DM and I share the chicken parm which is out of this world good.

We gave it up on a trip once to try Itally in Epcot and :scared: It was nasty :headache: Definitely heading back to MM on our MGM day :thumbsup2
