How often do you watch your Disney Videos?
DH and I watch almost every day, We have about 5 different videos from the parks. I just recently went to a yard sale and found a MK video from 1981 Its funny to watch it and compare it to everything they have how. Back then it was called the Vacation Kingdom. And also purchased one of Epcot(I can't remember the year on this ONe, about the same time)
Maybe we should start a support group lol.

My DH is away all week for work and to spend quality time with the family last night he made us popcrn and got us our favorite icecream and told us he got a video for us to watch. It was our tape of all the hotels on the Great Hotel show on the travel channel. Which of course was followed by our own WDW tapes and then the new WDW DVD. It was so really great "family"time.
And to be quite honest I watch at least one tape a day. I have to have a Disney fix.
I AM TRUELY AN ADDICT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm a closet watcher! DH thinks I'm insane about WDW, so I love watching a tape now and then when he's at work. LOL!

I've seen every one I have (5) at least 10 times each. I gave one to some people I'm helping and they've already watched it 4 times. They are so excited and I know they'll 'get' it when they go there for the first time in October.

It's an illness and it's NOT just you! Accept it and go with it, you may as well, you're not going to stop...... ;)

LOL - we are the same way here.

We went to my mom's house for a week(kids call it vacation - I don't). She had the newest Disney Vacation planning video. We watched it all week. My baby(16mo) loved it and when she would get fussy we would just pop in the movie and she was instantly happy. My mom gave the kids the movie and the Country Bear movie(we didn't have it) to take home. We watched them in the van all the way home - 12 hrs.

We have also been watching the Disney sing-along video "Disneyland Fun". I have been watching that movie since my youngest was born - 9.5years ago.

I found a vacation planner video from the mid 80's at a library book sale one time....that became part of our collection.

We have many....The Vacation Planner they sold in the Disney Store for about $10 back in 1992-1993 (its more extensive than the free ones they send now), we have the boxed set sold in the parks in the early 90's of the MK and Epcot, we have about 4 or 5 of the free vacation planning videos (mostly since 1999....we call for a new one each year)...plus we have a variety of the videos sold in the parks about the parks...the one for the millenium celebration, the one for 100 years of magic, and I think there's a new one now that we saw during our one night visit last month...didn't get that one yet...trying to find the DVD.

We don't watch them daily...but probably pick one to watch every week or so...we have Disney planning sessions regularly.

Yes, its a bit of an odd collection..but its fun!

The only reason I own a VCR is to watch the WDW promotional vacation videos.... everything else we own is in DVD format - LOL!

I was watching the Travel Channel's "Great Hotels" show about Disney's Winderness Lodge today, and my DH (that would be dear husband, not Disney husband) complained yet again about my Disney Freakism. I used the excuse of "there's nothing else on", which I'm sure wasn't convincing. We're not even there yet, and he seems to be sick of me and disney already.

So I told him that they should have a whole day of just Disney on the Travel Channel. He claimed that I would be the only one to watch it. Don't worry, I told him that there are a lot of freaks out there that would gladly watch and tape it for future enjoyment.

THANK YOU ALL for the support and making me feel less freakish :Pinkbounc

We're getting ever closer to WDW!!! :Pinkbounc
