I think we decided! Now what?

After much consideration and hours doing the research- I think hubby and I came up with what we like best.

Ceremony: Yacht Club Gazebo
Reception: Ariel's
Illuminations Dessert Party later that evening.

Not sure time of day or those details. I liked the fact that Ariel's could be confirmed at 12 months out- and sort of fits with our By The Sea type theme we have going. I also wanted to keep everything close- several of our guests are elderly and shuffling them from place to place was not something I really thought a good idea.

So, now we call DFTW at exactly the one year mark from the date we want? Then what happens?

I am definitely not an expert but have you called to have your wedding date pencilled in? After this you have a 30 minute phone consultation where you can ask questions and they give you the basics. Now I am just waiting to call a year before my wedding date. I guess that leaves lots of time for planning!

Call DFTW and get assigned a sales manager (or whatever they are called now). A few phone calls later, you will get a contract to sign.
