I think maybe I got the AAA rate and free DDP

Tell me if this is right. We had a package already paid for for the WL 9 nights with 7 day base ticket for 2 adults and one child(one kid is under 3). With the AAA rate it was $2700.50. I called our agent earlier this week to tell him to change dates and resorts in order to get the free DDP. He called me earlier and told me he has us booked for CBR for 10 nights with an 8 day hopper ticket for 2072.06. According to the WDW site it should have cost $2398.46. Where is this discrepancy coming from? I did make sure he had everything right, the number of people, nights and tix and it all seemed to be in order. He did say he was waiting for a confirmation fax but that is the price he was told. I sure don't want to complain about getting money back. I just want to know what's up. Should I be worried or just consider it a stroke of good luck?

My original dates for WL were Sept. 29 through Oct.8. New dates for CBR are Sept. 21 through Oct. 1. I just went back to the WDW site to check again and it's still showing the higher amount.:confused3
 
How old is your child who is not under 3 - exactly?

If you price the package for September 21 for 8 nights with 8day ph for 2 adults, one child (age 3-9) at CB standard view it comes to $2072.06

Ack!!! I hope that's not the case. He went over my dates again with me. I really hate to call him back. I've annoyed this guy to no end the last couple of weeks. Then again I'd hate to make a bunch of plans and have my trip cut short.

It sounds to me like you got shorted a couple of nights.

I wondered why you had 10 nights but only 8 day tickets.
 
I sent him an email. I couldn't make myself call him back:lmao: . If he doesn't respond soon I will call him. I just hate being a PITA to someone who I'm sure is working hard today. I have decided that if we try to go next year I'm just going to wait and book myself so I can be in total control.

It may not be your Ta's fault, if he called it in to change and the cm heard 8 day park hoppers and mistook it for 8 nights that is what could have happened but you should call your TA and have him double check it by calling disney directly and verifying the dates. I don't know how quickly their faxes come through, from Disney, for him to verify it
 
Well after many calls and emails we figured out the problem. We were booked for the 10 nights but were given the AAA discount BUT no free dining. He had to call them back to try to straighten it out. Needless to say we lost the discount but my peace of mind is much more important and we have free food! Thanks for the advice everyone.
