We just came back from 5 days at DLR in November, with no trips on the horizon (we've had 3 as a family in the past 2 years, I had an additional for the Tink Half). Well, I think we'll be able to fit in ONE day at the end of June! I just really wanted to go for the 60th anniversary AND to see the new Frozen area, since it opened right after we were there.

It's been 15 years since I've been to DLR in the summer - should I expect the last Saturday of June to be ridiculously busy or just fairly busy?

Last year at the end of June the crowds were very manageable...fairly busy is a good description. We are going end of June again this year, and I'm expecting it to be busier than last year because of the 60th, with the new parades and fireworks. But hopefully still manageable! I guess we'll find out together. :)

Rumor has it that the Frozen stuff is only there until the middle of May. We don't know for sure, yet. IMO, they are using that to draw people into the parks while so many things are down for refurbs for the 60th. Once things open back up they don't need it anymore.
