I think that the CB is wonderful. It gives us disers a chance to chat with other disers and have fun.

I lurk there a lot!
I mainly post on the tag fairy posts and when they ask random questions.
I'm not scared to post there.

I read the CB multiple times a day. And I'll occasionally post. I don't go back to see if I get chewed out, though & I have a pretty good idea of what threads to avoid.

I read the CB all the time but I RARELY RARELY post because it seems that EVERY thread on the CB turns into a fight (seriously, if you read it...i'd say 80% of the threads wind up with people flaming each other or debating about SOMETHING...even if it's the most miniscule thing)

I see how they react to teens posting, sometimes they pay it no mind, but sometimes it's like ASKJDHAWUEJASDNAL OH NO A TEEEEEEN WITH AN OPINIONNNN! THEY MUST BE STOPPED!
And they are VERY intolerant of spelling/grammar mistakes (for reasons far beyond my comprehension...as long as you can understand what someone if trying to say what's the point in chewing them out over bad spelling or lack or punctuation)

So that's my opinions on the CB.
I'd like to know what their opinions of the TB are.
We are ALOT different from them, I'd say only a small amount of threads on here turn into debates.
And I don't know if they realize how intelligent most of the posters on the TB are (even the younger ones! alot of the time i can't even tell how old people are!!)

I am scared of the CB. Like a year ago I posted a thread about your favorite hotdog places and a lot of them started telling me how they are not healthy and I shouldn't be eating them. Bua few actually backed me up and fought them back.lol

clearly there is a MASSIVELY differeny vibe on here than there is on the CB.

The 'aura' there is completely different then here on the TB. Most of the boards end in fights. And sometimes I feel that they strongly dislike the TB'ers.

ugh! no way! you were totally right!! i refuse to read through that entire thread about the emergency room....TOOOO MUCH DRAMAAAA.
I would NEVER claim to know cancer, my grampa had cancer but I'd never claim to say I KNOW CANCER. No way. I don't know how anyone could claim that.

But yeah...on that texting thread....they are a little much

I just read the thread onn the CB and it makes me want to scream. Some people on the TB are a little bit older then the 'average teen', so what? I see teens as up to 17. I completely dont get where she got 'Team Leader' and 'antogonizing'?
