My daughter is going with her DH and DS11, DS8. HER DH is a workaholic, travels a lot for his job and is away for weeks at a time. He in management for a LARGE retail chain, and has never had a vacation anywhere. She is having a hard time convincing him that he needs this time away from reality. He is under the impression that it's nothing special and a waste of his time. I realize that his tune will change once he gets there and experiences the magic, but how does she get him to enjoy the anticipation when he has never done anything like this before?
