I think I'm addicted.........

I knew that I was addicted when I would start to talk about Disneyland and would refer to it as "DL" in the conversation or when I started to think of my husband as my "DH". :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Hahaha, i do the same thing, partly from posting on a family forum as well where its all DS, DH, MIL, EX-DH......
I did almost slip up and call it DL in conversation the other day - opssss! :rotfl2:

My DH calls me a Dis Geek but he always appreciates the wealth of information I have due to the boards. In fact, he asked me to ask my "friends" a question about the European cruises. :worship:

The BEST part about the Disboards is if you are a DVC member because there are always so many questions to ask and answer about using your membership. The DVC boards are also wonderful if you are thinking of purchasing and want to get a feel for the membership.

I can't get enough of it!

LOL, I knew I couldn't be the only one. It looks like I'm in very good company.
Now the only problem is I'm dying to go back again ;)

I can't tell you how many times I have been composing an e-mail to a friend who is going to DLR with me, or telling someone about the trip, and I referred to it as DLR or DL/DCA accidentally. Then I threw in a PPH one time and they were really confused!:confused3 I try to stop myself but I just can't shake the lingo!

My DH is probably sick of hearing me say "I read such and such on the board." I must give him credit for humoring me and hiding what he must think quite well! I guess it really does pay off though because he is always sure to thank me for planning us a wonderful trip!

I think I'm addicted to this site too. My husband showed it too me about 3 weeks ago and I read the threads just about every day! I can't wait to go to DL next year.:rotfl2:

Wait until you discover other areas of the DIS! :goodvibes (Don't look!!!)

There is something VERY addictive about the DIS boards. Welcome to the club!

By the way - you will soon discover that sleep is WAY overrated! hehe :wizard:

I have a sort of ex-boyfriend or whatever you want to call him (that term is used very loosely here) who is one of those idiot men who doesn't appreciate you when they have you (we women all know what that is like) and then when they don't have you anymore, they suddenly want you! Well, he is suddenly laying it on thick, trying to break down my fortress of protection I have built up around me since the last go-round with him three years ago. The other day, he was saying he wants to come visit me or me to visit him, blah blah, blah and I was trying to keep my guard up and not let him get to me. So I just kept thinking to myself, "I have to plan another DLR trip, I have to plan another DLR trip, I have to occupy my mind with details...I have to get back on DISBoards and read some trip reports and some threads to get my mind off of [this person]." And that is what I did! When I hung up the phone, I got right onto DISboards and started reading and posting to distract myself! And it worked!

So DISboards is not only an addiction, but a good distraction from, er, uh...life's little annoyances!

Sounds like you'll be better off sticking with the Disboard. Hang tough, girl!

Sherry,

I agree! :) The internet and this website, are both most excellent forms for which one can distract themselves, from either the more mundane routines from life, or the annoying, etc.
