I'm at the office now. Can't remember if I turned it off or not after I cooked breakfast. Its electric so should I be worrying? Should I leave a go home to check?

Do you think you left something on the burner? Can you call someone to go check just for your peace of mind? In my experience, if I THINK I left it on, I didn't. It's those times that it never crosses my mind that I actually left it on.

Nothing was left on the burner. I know I put the pan the sink and washed it after cooking. Its like that "feeking" you spoke about. lol. Most likely I didn't. But wow....its killin me!

Oh gosh, I have had times where I thought that ….I am betting just out of habit you turned it off but you just do not remember.

I bet you turned it off. I know the feeling though, you arent going to drop it until you know for sure.

You cannot leave an electric burner on all day--please go make sure it is off!!

I hate that feeling! I would have to go check. I wouldn't be able to focus on work until I did check.

I would not be able to think of anything else all day. I would have to either go home and check, or send someone to my house. However when you get there, there is probably a 99.999999% chance that it is off. But if you don't check it then there is a 99.999999% chance it is on. J/K, it's probably off.

This is why I always "make friends" with someone who will be nearby during the day. I once left my coffeepot plugged in and turned on - no pot on the burner and I'd taken out the drip basket at least. I worked 30 minutes from home, so when I couldn't remember pulling the plug, I called my friend, who went over and found that it was still on - and VERY hot!

Hopefully you did turn off the stove and just don't remember!
