Okay, so I have had my daily fix of the DIS boards - read all the new threads and some of the older ones too.

I don't really have any questions today but just wanted to post as I am sooo excited, this time next week we will be there

The cases are out, the 3-1-1 is all ready to go, the camera is primed and ready to go, travel itinerary is looking very dog eared as I have read it more times that I can count - so what next!

Anything new and exciting happening the in the worlds happiest place?

Wish I had 1 more week to go!


I'm going in 2 weeks. We only live almost 2 hours away and ordered the APs for Universal, but we've been controlling ourselves and decided to wait till our birthdays to start using them. DH and I are huge HP fans, so going to WWOHP for the first time on our birthdays will make it just a little more special for us.

That sounds like a wonderful idea, and such a special treat for your birthday. I wish we lived closer and could be AP holders.

We used to live in the UK so are at least a bit closer now that we are in Canada.

I am hoping that the lines won't be too bad for WWOHP as my kids are just so excited about going to see it. They are both just about big enough to go on all of the rides. DS(10) is 55" and DD(8) is 531/4" but has new flip flops that have a 1" heel so she should just about squeek in.

Maybe we shall have to put her on the rack to stretch her just a little bit more!

Hey fellow Brit - I lived in Northampton and Peterborough before that, moved to Canada 4 years ago.

Ducky_love - when you say its cooled off a little, thats by who's standards?? We are now only reaching a balmy 14, if we are lucky, here in sunny Ontario, so anything over 20 is good for me!!

We've travelled in October and the crowds are not usually too bad so we are hoping for a easy time.

Holy crow!!! I mean the high is in the mid 80s and the lows are getting down to the high 60s (sweatshirt weather at night). As a life long Floridian I think I might die if it were in the teens!! I actually remember my school being closed when I was growing up because it got below 30. We didn't have proper heaters so they told us all to stay home!

Poor Ducky_love, we won't be inviting you up here for some winter fun then when the weather gets to -30 and the snow is 6ft deep!
