I think I have a sickness

Last night my friend tells me her sister and family are going on a Disney land/sea trip in May. My friend was invited to go too, but can not take time off of work. She tells me she thought it was too expensive and besides not being able to take time off of work, she is not going to spend that much money. So, being the "expert" that I feel I am on Disney, I jump at the opportunity to discuss this with her.

Her sister just booked the trip two weeks ago for this May (no early booking discount on the cruise), booked the land/sea package directly through Disney including airfare(way overpriced) without getting prices from any other travel agencies or anything. I can't believe she is paying top dollar for this vacation when it can be done so much cheaper by booking everything separately (or at least going though a TA that offers a better price or incentives)

I felt like I was going to convulse when she was telling me this! I start telling her all the great deals we've been able to get for our trip etc, etc, etc.

I think I've gone off the deep end with my budgeting...it's officially an obsession when I start worrying about other people's vacation budget!!!

I am with you too. A guy at work the other day told me he was going in Oct, the same time I am. I got real excited and starting telling him about AP discounts and MNSSHP and all the cool things to see. And about how he could save all this money. After about a 3 minute blank stare, I told him just to let me know if he had any questions. I felt like I had a chicken on my head. At least he it found it interesting about how the ticketa and passes had changed this year.

well, it's nice to see that I'm not the only Disney crazy out there! My DH thinks I'm nuts too - but he does appreciate it when we are able to take a great vacation thanks to all my research, planning, obsessing!!!

Similiar problem. Right now I have 3 people at work that want me to come over this weekend to help plan, and book their trips. I did tell them, they would have to cook me dinner. We are going to have a pot luck, plan disney dinner Sun eve.
