I called MS today to extend my waitlist for my upcoming trip. I had a reservation for a 2BR at SSR. While I had them on the phone, just for the heck of it, I inquired about availability on a 1BR. He informed me that there were no 1BR's left. I told him just extend my waitlist at BW. That was the end of the conversation.
Quite a few hours later, I got online and noticed my points were credited and my reservation was changed to a 1BR.
I looked into my points history and he evidently cancelled my 2BR and re-booked with a 1BR. How can he do this without my knowledge. I didn't even tell him I wanted the 1BR. Besides he said there was no availability. Where did he magically find this room? Do I even still have a reservation? What if I get there and I don't have a room?
I just found this out about 10 minutes ago and MS is closed. I will call them in the morning. But now I have 47 points credited to my account that I can't do anything with.
