I followed the link to Small World Vacations where it shows some of the examples of the new MYW packages - it's blurry, but check out the blackout dates. Right when we want to go! I wonder if those will be the times when other discount codes will be available?

Those are the value season rates listed below those prices. You should still be able to get the MYW rate, but they won't be as cheap as the ones listed. Those are the lowest price possible because of the value season dates. They listed these like this for the Dreamakers packages (in the brochures) before MYW as well. You will still be able to get the MYW package and tickets, just not at the rates listed on that brochure- those are the "as low as" rates based on the value resorts and the dates listed.

Carrieberry is right, however when I saw the same info I had to look at it twice because I first thought the same thing.

Disney isn't about to scrap there whole package program only to release packages during curtain times of the years like they do codes.

Thanks for the clarification. I guess the whole lack of "who knows what the new deal brings?" is making me worry that we won't be able to get the great deals we've gotten in the past. (people wonder how we can afford to keep going back - I tell them it's because Disney is CHEAP compared to other things we could do!)

I know what you mean! My friend and her DH wanted to go to Hawaii until I told them how much cheaper it was to go to WDW! They went in October and are now addicts as well! When you know how to go with the great deals and discounts it doesn't "pay" to go anywhere else!

Carrieberry,

I went to Oahu right after Christmas and came back after New Years last year. For the price I paid to go including food, tours etc. I probably could have stayed 5 or 6 nights at disney with tickets and food twice.

I really thinking about either Disney in May or Oahu in Sept or Oct and after looking at airprices and hotel, WDW is so much cheaper, plus it is only 2.5 or 3 hours instead of 13 hours. Don't get me wrong, I loved Oahu, but Maybe I can go to WDW twice this year with the money I save.
