The Hubby's goal after getting his Kidney transplant was to go to Walt Disney World. He had never been and when he got the clearing from his doctors, I booked for September 2008. I planned everything out, hit each park in accordance to their opening, plan sit down meals at unique restaurants, and add in times to relax.
As we enjoyed rides, parades, shows, and meals, I would look to see if he was enjoying himself......he was stone cold reaction as I laughed at the lame jokes, or teared up at the music playing. I was afraid that I had a hard sell for any future visits. His comments were "I enjoyed myself, I liked it." But his tone was noncommittal.
I graduated college in 2009 and as a gift to myself I booked a short week in Orlando with plans to visit MK for one day. While I was there in June, I thought I would inquire about
MVMCP and called hubby to see if he would be interested in booking a weekend to catch one of the parties, he said we would like to go (which ended up being the whole week in December 2009).
As a gift to our mothers we took them for Christmas too. On our last day we took the DVC tour and I nearly fell over when he whipped out his credit card and bought us DVC.

We just got back from WDW and he planned everything and with his donor and her family going to WDW in March, he has been planning everything with her and has booked a surprise visit for us to meet them down there. So, Yes, Disney can create monsters if you are not careful.
