How do you tell, besides going to the docs??? I stubbed it yesterday morning and it was sore and hurt when I walked on it all day. When I got home and took off my sandals it was all black and blue. So this morning I put on sneakers -- my foot doesn't fit very well and it hurts worse cause it is all cramped up in there. I was running late and didn't have time to change back into my sandals.
I was thinking that the doc can't do anything for a broken toe anyways and really hate to pay for a visit if they don't do anything.
So here I sit with my shoe off to give my little toe some room to expand.
What do you think???

I'm sorry it hurts. Try to stay off it as best you can. FWIW, I don't have any on-going pain or problems with it.
It's been about 7 weeks now. Doesn't hurt any more, but yesterday was the first I wore sneakers for just a brief time. Up till now I've only been wearing sandles.
