I think I am understanding how to use our vouchers, but...

We did our GAD project and have our vouchers in hand. After reading all of the questions on here, I think I have decided what we will do with our vouchers...At this point, we have no hotel reservation and no tickets(planning on staying at POFQ and are not really interested in Free Dining, so waiting to see if a room only discount comes out.) We are going at the beginning of Oct. I am planning on taking our vouchers to the Magic Kingdom Will Call window on our first day in the parks and upgrading them to a 6 day park hopper. Here is where I am not completely clear: If we do that, can we then go ahead and hop to another park even that day(the actual vouchers very clearly state that they are a one-day one-park ticket)? It would seem so, but I am just trying to make sure I've got it completely clear in my head.

Am I right in all of this? If you see something that I am misunderstanding, will you let me know? Want to have my plan in place so I can free up some space in my brain!

The voucher itself is good only for a 1-day, 1-park base ticket, as it says.

After you get that ticket, you are free to upgrade that as if it was a regular 1-day MYW base ticket. The only requirement is that you are supposed to USE it first by going into the park. You can upgrade it any time after that, within 14 days.

You can ask if you can skip all that confusion, and do the upgrade right away - some have reported that the CM will do this.

But worst case is you get the 1-day ticket, go into the park, and then ANYTIME at your convenience before entering the second park you upgrade it. You can even do it at the gate of the second park.
