I might have a blader infecton but I am not going to the DR untill thrusday I want to make sure I have the infecton before I go. and antoher peace of it is I want to give blood on wedsday

That doesn't seem very smart. If I though I had a bladder infection I would go to the doctor before it got worse and they can get worse very quickly.

They have over the counter stuff you can buy now. Also, overload on pure cranberry juice (not the cocktail).

Thank you I did not know that they could esculate very quickly, and I will make the apointment ASAP and skip giving blood on wendsday. Although after I gave it last time I flet great.

I agree that they can get worse quickly and they can be quite painful. I second the recommendation of drinking cranberry juice. There is something about the acid in the berries that helps. Good luck and feel better.

A bladder infection with proper treatment will clear up in a few days. You'll be able to donate blood probably next week. So, don't be too disappointed.

DO NOT GIVE BLOOD! People who are sick an need blood could die from something as small as an infection. Go to the DR, and when your infection is gone, give blood then. Otherwise instead of saving someone, you are potentially doing them harm . You would also be falsifying your Blood Donor History by not answering honestly to the "are you feeling healthy & well today" question.

I was thinking of Cystex, which you can buy OTC. Maybe it is not for bladder infections exactly. I thought it was.
