I think America wins

Yeah, and we have 10 of them too! Next most countries all have 2 carriers.

Not too up on such things but I'm sort of shocked the US only has 10 considering the size of the world, although, I suppose the entire state of Alaska does put the US in a solid strategic face to face in an important region.

Speaking of big boats, I remember the Navy's USNS Mercy and the USNS Comfort that were pulled to the NYC and LA harbors late March of 2020, I had no idea we had those before then. I think there is a whole lot our military has at the ready I can't even imagine.

If you look at the top ten countries by military spending, the US is at the top with more than double that of the closest country. We also have 76 destroyers compared to China's 42 and Russia's 10. We have 68 subs and over 3000 combat aircraft! The only category in which the US is behind is the tank, which aren't as relevant as they used to be. Well, also in nuclear warheads, but that doesn't much matter. It's pretty shocking when you look at it by the numbers. The US Navy is straight-up ridiculous!

I needed to google what is a destroyer ship and whoa, that is a lot happening on one vessel.

I sort of agree with tanks, they are slow and clunky and might not be all that helpful unless they are used to transport troops on the ground. With the advent of drones maybe troops on the ground in harms way is much less necessary than in past situations. If we have satellites that can zoom in on anyone anywhere and drones to deliver then why have a pricey tank that is a clumsy target.

Oh yeah - an Arleigh-Burke class destroyer is one mean peice of combat equipment. It also has highly advanced missile systems. The numbers don't tell the whole story even, because even if other countries have destroyers, they are not nearly as capable as an Arleigh-Burke - and they're not even that new!

Yeah, tanks and troop numbers aren't as important anymore with all the tech. Even when needed, they are supported by all those drones and such, which helps a ton. It's not just a matter of numbers.

Absolute beast of a craft! 30 knots is very impressive in particular!
