The recital that is...............................,
55 dances
3 1/2 hours
my dd are in the company, so between their regular classes AND company they were in
21 dances between the two of them
1 solo by youngest dd to 'Bandstand", what a show stopper
and
1 duet between oldest dd and youngest dd, to "Candle on the Water' (from Pete'e Dragon, on a compilation album of Disney music), another show stopper, got huge applause, and so any people came up to dd's to compliment them.
The only down side to the recital, our studio has a new modern teacher, whom the kids just love, but her dances are just way to wierd for me, all these contractions like you have a stomach ache from gas, and hopping around like you have a stubbed toe
Oh well, only three more shows left
by the way imagime transporting 21 costumes, 10 pairs of dances shoes, endless amount of tights, bobby pins, saftey pins, make-up, hairspray, I am just exhausted
