Normally I wait until the 2nd weekend of Nov but since I have to work both days I figured why not start today since I'm in the mood. I live with my family and my mom and I LOOOOOVE to collect Hallmark ornaments. Since she has been collecting for so long and I got hooked when I was a kid we now have.....5 FULL SIZED TREES as well as several smaller trees. They are a white 7ft Disney Princess tree in the hall, a 8ft slim Mickey and friends tree on the stairs, a 6.5ft pop culture tree in the family room, a 6.5ft hollywood tree in the dining room and a real tree that has A Victorian theme. As they go up I will post some pics of them. My newest small tree is a lavendar 3ft tree devoted to Tinker Bell!!! Unfortunately it doesn't have a topper because I am waiting to see if the Disney Store gets the Tink one from online. If not I am going to have my TA boss ship it to me from the states so i can avoid the OUTRAGEOUS shipping fees from disneyshopping. So is there anyone as obsessed with Christmas??????

:tinker: :tink:

Awesome! I love Christmas! I think we'll put our stuff up right after Thanksgiving. I'm not as awesome as you with the several trees...I really can't be due to the layout of our apartment. Thank god our ceilings are 10 feet, though...we can at least put a tree up!
WOOHOO CHRISTMAS!! :woohoo:

Ok here's the Disney princess one.

I thought my boyfriend was addicted to Christmas (he put the tree up the day after Halloween) and Disney, but you surpass him...

Wow! Great tree! Looking forward to seeing the others.

We really like Christmas, but you do take the first prize for being the most into the holiday! :teeth:

Wow! I love Christmas, but I suck at decorating. Got any tips or ideas?

Hmm well I'd say pick a theme and go with. Try to co-ordinate the items to what room you'll have them in. Don't think you have to use expensive stuff. There are so really nice inexpensive things out there .Mix and match and have fun with it. I don't really know what else to say i guess it just comes naturally. Some people have commented that I over do it but that's the point. I really want to transform our home for Christmas. I want you to feel as if you've entered some amazing Christmas wonderland.

Very nice trees Glenpreece. I asked on Disboards recently whether Disney fans were more likely to like Christmas than the general public because I suspect that that is so. I am thinking that maybe holidays in general are more popular with Disney fans as any excuse to celebrate.

Glen - Your trees are fabulous!!

If I shipped all of my Hallmark ornaments to you, along with my gorgeous pre-lit musical tree would you decorate it and take pictures for me?

Our cat is the spawn of Satan. I don't think I will ever be able to put up my Christmas tree again. She is only 18 months old and she will probably live to be about 30. Last year I thought maybe this year would be better, but it isn't. She rips around like her tail is on fire, jumps halfway up the wall, slams the rocking chair against the wall, she's completely demonic. My friend says we should put her on tranquilizers. I worked so long and so hard to put my collection together I can't let her destroy it. Stupid cat.

Sure no problem lol!!!!

Wow Glen - very nice so far! We used to go nuts at Christmas - we've actually downgraded to a smaller tree and less decorations last year - it's fun to decorate but I HATE taking everything down. I even went less outside last year.

We'll see this year - right now business is very tough and also very stressful here at work - I work pretty much everyday thesedays.

We usually start to decorate the day after thanksgiving.

I had a very productive day between gettings some clients finally booked and some airfares taken care of and doing some more christmas decorating.

This is the Fairy Tree

Now just 2 more full sized trees and i think one more small tree to go plus garlands, wreaths and all sorts of other stuff. LOL and my trip is in 23 days...
